BID INVITATION GENERAL TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND INSTRUCTIONS
NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION All contractors must complete and fax to Wardergroup, the form on the Website's Jobs page. This form only needs to be completed once per License year.
DESIRE NOT TO BID If unable to bid, please sign and fax back this form, advising reason for not submitting a bid.
SUBMISSION AND RECEIPT OF BIDS
(a) Bids, to received consideration, must be received not later than 21 days from the date of the request for bid.
(b) All bids much be either typewritten or filled in with ink in order to be considered. Also, all bids must be signed in ink by the owner or estimator, in order to be considered.
(c) Any errors may be crossed out and corrections entered in ink and initialed in ink by the estimoator or owner of the company submitting the bid.
PRICING
(a) the bidder guarantees that prices, terms and conditions quoted in the bid will be firm for acceptance for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid submittal.
(c) Only firm pricing shall be given consideration. General terms such as “Price in Effect at Time of Delivery” shall be cause for rejection of the bid.
DELIVERY CONCERNS
All items shall be delivered F.O.B. destination with delivery costs and charges included in the bid price. The bidder shall assume all liability and responsibility for the delivery of merchandise in good condition to the specified delivery location.
BRAND NAMES
The bidder must indicate any variances from our specifications and/or conditions, no matter how slight.
AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE
All bids must be signed in order to be considered. If the bidder is a partnership or corporation, the bidder must show the title of the individual signing the bid.
ACCEPTANCE OF MATERIAL
The material delivered under this proposal shall remain the property of the seller until a physical inspection of this material and/or service is made and accepted to the satisfaction of Warder & Associates, Inc and Wardergroup of Florida, Inc.
DELIVERY
When appropriate, the bidder shall state the time of the proposed delivery in number of calendar days. General terms such as “stock”. “immediately” and “as soon as possible” will not be acceptable.
COPYRIGHTS OR PATENT RIGHTS
The bidder certifies by submission of the bid that there has been no violation of copyrights or patent rights in manufacturing, marketing, or selling of the product or services offered as a result of this bid.
INSPECTIONS
Whenever installation, service, or construction is requested, Warder & Associates, Inc. and Wardergroup of Florida, Inc., may ask for similar locations of such work of the bidders for reference to determine quality of workmanship. The results of such inspection or inquity shall be a factor in making the award.
LICENSES, PERMITS, AND FEES
All bids submitted shall have included the price or cost of any required business and professional licenses, permits or fees.
DEFAULT
As time will be of the essence for any orders placed as a result of this bid, Wardergroup reserves the right to cancel such orders, or any part thereof, with out obligation if delivery is not made at the time specified on the bid form. In case of default, or failure to make a timely delivery, Warder & Associates, Inc., or Wardergroup of Florida, Inc., may terminate the purchase order and/or contract and may procure them from other sources and hold the defaulting bidder liable for any resulting additional cost.
BASIS FOR REJECTIONS AND AWARD
(a) The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request re-bids. Wardergroup also reserves the right to award the contract on such materials/services deemed to best serve its interests.
STATE REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS (IF APPLICABLE)
All bidders must show evidence of the proper trade/supply licenses before such bids are considered.
All bidders must be propertly bonded and insured.
ANTI-DISCRIMINATION
By submitting their bids/proposals, all bidders certify to Wardergroup that they will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex or national origin.
WORKERS’ COMPENSATION REQUIREMENT FOR CONTRACTORS
All contractors are required to submit a Certificate of Worker’s compensation Insurance prior to commencing any work.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACTORS
The contractor shall provide all required testing and safety equipment for their workers as well as seeing that all OSHA regulations are in full compliance.
